Boston Duck Tours
Fenway Park Tour

You've never toured Boston in anything that comes close to Boston Duck Tours.  The fun begins as soon as you board your "DUCK", a W.W.II style amphibious landing vehicle.  First, you'll be greeted by one of our legendary tour ConDUCKtors, who'll be narrating your tour.   Then you're off on a journey like you've never had before.  You'll cruise by all the places that make Boston the birthplace of freedom and a city of firsts.  And, as the best of Boston unfolds before your eyes, your ConDUCKtor will be giving you lots of little known facts and interesting insights about our unique and wonderful city.

And just when you think you've seen it all, there's more.  It's time for "Splashdown" as your ConDUCKtor splashes your DUCK right into the Charles River for a breathtaking view of the Boston and Cambridge skylines, the kind of view
you just won't get
anywhere else.

Did you know ...?

  • No player has ever hit a home run over the right-field roof at Fenway Park.
  • The screen behind Fenway's home plate that protects fans and allows foul balls to roll back down onto the field was the first of its kind in the Major Leagues.
  • The padding at the bottom of both left - and center-field walls at Fenway Park was installed after the 1975 World Series.  In Game 6, Sox outfielder Fred Lynn crashed into the then-concrete wall in center trying to make a catch, and then lay on the field for several minutes.
  • The last player in Major League baseball to win the Triple Crown (most home runs, most runs batted in and highest batting average) was Hall of Famer Carl Yastremski in 1967 who spent his entire career with Boston.
  • The last player to bat over .400 in a season was Hall of Famer Ted Williams in 1941. He hit .406. He spent his entire career with Boston.

  • Ted Williams holds the record for the longest measurable home run hit in Fenway Park at 502 feet. The spot is marked by a lone red seat in right field.

  • The left field wall measures a towering 37 feet 2 inches and is nicknamed the Green Monster.

  • Fenway has maintained its manually operated scoreboard on the left field wall showing division standings, line score of the game and scores from other MLB games.
